This was one of the most unique sailing video productions I've ever had the chance to work on! New England Boatworks hired me to document the launch of their latest maxi race boat, George David's Rambler 88. I spent four days in December 2014 in Newport, following the team as they put the finishing touches on the boat, dropped her in the water, moved her down to Newport Shipyard, hauled her out again to attach the keel and mast, put her through a spectacular stress test, and finally took her out sailing on Narragansett Bay. I got to use my Canon 5D, several GoPro's including a few lent to me by some of the yard staff, and a DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus for the aerial shots. Graded using Red Giant Color Suite.
